After a full year in the Heroes Reborn pocket universe reboot, Captain America returned to the main Marvel comics continuity with this 1998 relaunch from Mark Waid. Cap lands smack in the middle of Tokyo, his last memory having been the battle with Onslaught. But there’s no rest for Cap in his return to the “real” Marvel Universe, as he battles Japanese Nationalists, declares war on Hydra, loses his shield and inadvertently starts a race war in the streets of America!
