Deathember continues on Second Print Comics! There once was a time when the death of major characters still mattered in comic books - and even more so in the case of DC Comics of the late '80's when The Flash, Supergirl and Jason Todd's Robin all died - and stayed dead (at least for the time being...). In 1992, amid slagging sales and a delayed wedding storyline, DC editorial decided to do the unthinkable - and kill Superman. Marc and Remso take a look at this storyline that spanned every Superman comic book and brought scores of new fans into DC comics - including a young Marc Clair.

They look at the history of the rift between creators and corporate over control of their characters over the years, from Jerry Siegel and Joel Schuster with Superman to Jack Kirby with X-Men, Fantastic Four, etc. to the Image founders of the '90's.
